These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the FastSites website and the services we provide. Please read them carefully. By placing an order, opening an account or using any part of our service, you confirm that you accept these terms.
1. Who we are
FastSites (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides website design, build, hosting and related software services. We also operate FastDrive (cloud storage, documents, spreadsheets and presentations) and GetInbox (email hosting) as part of the same group of products.
Your contract for these services is with our United Kingdom entity. FSITES LTD14446987, registered at 105 Seven Sisters Road, London, N7 7QR, United Kingdom, VAT registration number GB 427 6738 65.
One account works across FastSites, FastDrive and GetInbox: opening an account with any one of them gives you access to the others under the same sign-in. These terms, and your contract with us, apply to your use of all three.
You can contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page.
2. Definitions
- Our products — FastSites, FastDrive and GetInbox, run by us on one shared account system.
- Managed plan — a plan where we design and build your website for you from the brief you submit.
- DIY plan — a self-service subscription where you build and edit your own website using our tools.
- Deployment — the point at which your website is first published to a live, publicly reachable address.
- Content — text, images, logos, video and any other material you supply.
3. Orders and formation of contract
Submitting a brief or subscribing to a plan is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm your order by email, or when we begin work, whichever happens first. We may decline an order — for example where the requested content is unlawful or outside our service.
We don't sell to the countries and regions listed on our Restricted Countries page. These restrictions include our own company-policy exclusions as well as sanctions-related restrictions. We do not accept orders or payments from those locations, and there is no enquiry or manual-approval route to purchase. That page forms part of these terms.
4. The service we provide
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill, and in line with the plan you bought. Delivery timescales shown on our website (including any reference to launch within 21 hours) are typical estimates based on past work. They are not guarantees, and they depend on you supplying the content and approvals we need.
We may improve, change or replace features over time. Where a change materially reduces the service on a paid plan, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel under section 10.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree that:
- the content you supply is accurate, and is yours to use — you own it or hold the necessary licences and permissions;
- your content and your website will not infringe anyone else’s rights, and will not be unlawful, defamatory, obscene or misleading;
- you will keep your account credentials secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use;
- you will supply the material and approvals we reasonably need, when we ask for them.
You indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from content you supply or from your breach of these terms.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use our service to send unsolicited bulk email, distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, infringe intellectual property, or host material that is unlawful. We may suspend a website that breaches this section, and will tell you why.
7. Intellectual property and ownership
On full payment, you own the final website we deliver to you, together with the content you supplied. Your domain is registered in your name.
We keep ownership of everything underlying the service — our platform, editor, source templates, tooling and know-how — and of any component we reuse across customers. You receive a non-exclusive licence to use those components as part of your website for as long as your plan is active.
We may display your website in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
8. AI-assisted content
Parts of the website we build for you — drafts of copy, layout suggestions, image selection and similar starting material — may be produced with the help of artificial intelligence tools. A person on our team directs, reviews, edits and approves that output before it is used: the creative decisions (what your site says, how it looks, what it is built to achieve) are made by us, not generated unattended. AI is a drafting aid we use internally, not a replacement for that judgement.
We use AI this way so we can build your website faster and pass the saving on to you — it is part of how we keep our prices lower and turn work around quickly without cutting the human review that goes into every site.
Using AI in how we produce a website does not change who owns it. Section 7 above still applies in full: on full payment, you own the final website and the content you supplied, and FastSites retains ownership of our platform, tooling and any component we reuse across customers, whether or not AI assisted in producing it. “FastSites” and our other product names are our trademarks regardless of how any particular page or asset was produced.
AI-assisted output can occasionally be inaccurate or need correction, which is exactly why our team reviews it before it reaches your site. If you believe something in your delivered website was produced by AI without adequate review, tell us and we will correct it. This section does not reduce the responsibilities you take on under section 5, including that your own supplied content must be yours to use.
9. Fees, billing and price changes
Prices are shown on our pricing page. Where UK VAT applies it is shown before you pay. One-off build fees are payable in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose until cancelled.
We may change subscription prices, giving you at least 30 days’ notice before the change takes effect on your plan. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it applies.
Prices in other currencies. If you pay for a subscription in Australian, Canadian, New Zealand or Singapore dollars, Swiss francs, Swedish kronor, Japanese yen, Indian rupees or South African rand, its price can go up at renewal if that currency falls more than 15% against the pound. We will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before it does. Subscriptions paid in pounds, US dollars, euros or UAE dirhams are never re-priced for existing subscribers because of exchange rates.
Orders paid through Paddle. Some orders are sold to you by Paddle.com, our online reseller, which is the merchant of record for those orders. Paddle handles the payment and the sales tax on them. The checkout tells you which company you are paying before you pay.
If a payment fails we may retry it and, after reasonable notice, suspend the service until the account is settled.
Monthly AI credit subscriptions
Mini, Pro and Max are separate monthly credit subscriptions, not hosting or DIY website plans. The plan allowance and recurring price are shown before checkout. A fresh allowance is added only after each monthly payment has been verified. Unused monthly credits expire at the exact end of that paid billing period and do not roll over. The subscription page shows the expiry and renewal dates. Monthly credits are used before reward and separately purchased credits; those other balances do not reset when a monthly period ends.
You can cancel future renewals in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; it does not itself refund the current payment. Your paid monthly allowance remains usable until its expiry. If renewal payment fails, no new allowance is granted. A failed AI job releases its reservation, but cannot restore monthly credits after their expiry or beyond a refunded allowance. Refunds and payment disputes may withdraw the corresponding allowance and require reconciliation of credits already spent. This does not affect any statutory cancellation or refund rights.
FastSites credits are non-transferable software usage units, not money, model tokens or XP. An allowance does not guarantee a completed website, unlimited revisions, or access to an unavailable AI feature. Crypto top-ups, where offered, are one-off purchases and do not enable automatic monthly subscription payments. Staging checkout is sandbox-only and uses test funds.
10. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation rights, the 12-hour refund window that runs from payment and the DIY free trials (14 days for DIY Basic, 30 days for DIY Pro) are set out in full in our Refunds and Cancellations policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and will try to schedule it to minimise disruption.
12. Third-party services
Our service integrates third parties — including payment processors, domain registrars and hosting providers. Their own terms govern their part of the service. We are not responsible for a third party’s acts or omissions, though we will help you resolve problems where we reasonably can.
We choose which registrar we use to register and manage domains on your behalf, and may change that choice at any time, including moving a domain you already own to a different registrar. This does not affect your ownership of the domain, which remains registered in your name throughout. Where such a change requires your authorisation under the applicable transfer rules, we will initiate it and let you know; you remain free to decline that authorisation.
13. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill or loss of data, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not affect.
14. Data protection
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and is governed by the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where we process personal data on your behalf as part of running your website, we do so as your processor and only on your documented instructions.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end the service if you materially breach these terms and do not put it right within 14 days of us asking, or immediately where the breach is serious or unlawful. You may end a subscription as described in the Refunds and Cancellations policy.
On termination we will, if you ask within 30 days, provide a copy of your website content in a reasonable format.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above shows when. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable notice by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales, which have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live, and you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies there.
18. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer ours on notice, for example if our business is sold.
19. Contact
